Terms and Conditions:
This facility is intended only for CT (Computed Tomography) and MRI ( Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scans and not for USG ( Ultrasonography ) studies and X-rays. The facility is for Head Neck and ENT scans only performed in India. No imaging studies of any other body part will be accepted for interpretation.
This facility is intended only for non-emergency CT / MRI scans. No reports will be offered in emergency situations where life-saving and immediate medical intervention is needed.Hence the Indian Evidence Act does not apply to reports generated and the doctor is not obliged to testify in any case (civil or criminal ) that reaches the Indian courts.
The decision to view/interpret any CT/ MRI scan is at the sole discretion of Dr.Sanjay Vaid after due verification of bonafide credentials entered during the registration process, availability of a detailed clinical history/background and subsequently subject to approval of scan image quality / prescribed standards of diagnostic imaging.
This interpretation and report generation is in no way any form of a Teleradiology service, does not imply a two-way communication via PACS systems and hence is not subject to any regulatory measures (if any) applicable to Teleradiology. In any case, as of present date there are no mandatory central or overarching legislations providing for registration or licenses to practice Teleradiology in India. In accordance with Section 27 of the MCI Act, any person whose name is enrolled in a specific State Medical Council is enrolled in the Indian medical register and can practice as a medical practitioner in any state of India according to his qualifications. Hence, inter-state practice of Radiology by medical practitioners is permissible by law.Nonetheless, this service will, at all times, try as far as possible, to adhere to Clause 1.2 and 1.6 of Ethics Code Regulations, 2002 of MCI which make all physicians duty-bound to maintain good medical practices and ensure highest quality in patient care. All other statutes ie Clause 7.18 of Ethics Code Regulations, 2002 of MCI Act, Information Technology Act, 2000, Recommended Guidelines Standards for Practice of Telemedicine in India (Guidelines) in May, 2003, Section 12(2) of The Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010, Consumer Protection Act (CPA), 1986 and the Pre-conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, 1994 are at present not binding on this facility.

There is no specific duration of making a request on this website.
Limited Liability Clause:
TurtleNeck Imaging shall have no liability to compensate the client for any claim pressed by the latter.TurtleNeck Imaging shall not be liable or responsible for any action taken or omitted in pursuance of the request generated by the client in good faith, except for gross negligence, bad faith or wilful misconduct adjudicated by a court of competent jurisdiction.
Shipping / Membership Policy:
TurtleNeck Imaging does not have any Shipping / Membership Programme.
Cancellation Policy:
An approved request generated by a client in process of review by TurtleNeck Imaging cannot be cancelled by the client.
Refund Policy:
Any amount remitted by a client for an approved / in process / completed request will not be refunded ( in part or full) by TurtleNeck Imaging.
